By accessing or using the COOL HAT website, hereafter referred to as "the Website," you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Website. COOL HAT reserves the right to modify or revise these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Website after any changes indicate your acceptance of the updated terms.
Conditions of use
The user is responsible for using this website in compliance with that laid down by the law, refraining from any unlawful or immoral activity, or any activity that goes against the best practices or rights of third parties.
Intellectual Property
Intellectual Property rights pertaining to the COOL HAT website, encompassing its content and information—such as text, images, sound, software, and other website materials—are owned by COOL HAT. Users are permitted to explore the COOL HAT website and reproduce excerpts through printing, downloading to a storage device, or distributing to third parties, solely for non-commercial purposes. The website's contents are intended for personal use only.
Under no circumstances can any part of the website be utilized or distributed for commercial purposes. Furthermore, the COOL HAT brand, content, or any elements thereof must not be challenged or employed in any essay or publication, irrespective of format, and especially not transferred to other website(s). It is emphasized that by providing access to its website, COOL HAT is not conferring any rights or licenses to its users.
Products and Prices
COOL HAT retains the right to modify prices at its discretion, and product availability may be restricted within periods specified by the brand. The user is responsible for any shipping costs, unless otherwise established by the brand. It is important to note that labelling may not be error-free. Should any errors be identified during order processing, the purchaser has the option to either confirm the order at the accurate price or cancel it.
User Registration
Certain features of the Website may require you to register. You agree to provide accurate and current information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate and current.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to notify COOL HAT immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Termination of Service
COOL HAT reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Website at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
Limitation of Liability
COOL HAT shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential viruses or damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Website or the content.
Shipping Responsibility
COOL HAT recommends using the Standard Registered Shipping method, that offers the possibility of tracking your mail. If you have chosen a non registered shipping option and you have not received your delivery 30 days after your purchase, you can email us at thecoolhats.store@gmail.com, to check if something is up. However, it is most likely we have sent it, there being a third party complication. In that case, COOL HAT is not responsible for any deviation or third party's loss.
Exchange Policy
Contractual right to return the products
We grant the customer a period of 30 days from the date of confirmation of shipment of the products to make the return of the same. The Customer may exercise his right to return the products in accordance with the terms provided for the exercise of the right of free termination of the contract. However, the customer must inform us of his intention to return the products and deliver the products to us within a period of 30 days from the confirmation of shipment.

Conditions for exercising the contractual right to return products
The contractual right to return products must apply exclusively to products that can be returned in the same conditions in which the customer received them. No refund will be made if the product has been used beyond simply opening its packaging or if it has been damaged; therefore, the customer should be careful with the products while they are in their possession.
Please return the item, using or including the original packaging. It must also include all instructions, labels, documents and packaging of the products, together with the product itself purchased. When returning the product(s), you must contact us through our online contact form, the e-mail thecoolhats.store@gmail.com or through instagram @thecoolhats, so that the product is delivered to a place indicated by Cool Hats. The customer must send the product in the same packaging received. The costs of this return method will be charged to the customer.

Defective products
In cases where it is considers that, at the time of delivery, the product does not comply with the provisions of the contract, the customer must contact us within the legally established period of two months through our contact form, or email thecoolhats.store@gmail.com indicating the details of the product as well as the damage suffered, and we will indicate how to proceed. We will ask for proof sent by image of the defect in the hat.
The refund of the price must take place as soon as possible and, in any case, within a maximum period of 14 days after we receive your order back. The amounts paid for products returned due to any damage or defects will be refunded in full, including the delivery costs incurred in sending the item and the costs incurred in returning them. The return must be made using the same payment method used to pay for the purchase. All rights recognized by the law in force will be safeguarded.

Replacement of a defective product
This possibility is independent of the Right of Termination, which continues to exist, from a legal point of view.

Variations that shall not be considered defects
The products we sell often have the characteristics of the materials used in their production. These characteristics, such as variations in texture, knots and colors, may not be considered defects or damage. On the contrary, you should count on their presence and appreciate them. We only select the highest quality products, but features are unavoidable and must be accepted as part of the individual product appearance.

Right of cancellation and return of orders from abroad
If you have ordered items from another EU Member State outside of Portugal through this website, the above clauses apply with the restriction that the transport determined by us can only be carried out to the original delivery address within Portugal.
We further inform you that we are under no circumstances obliged to pay shipping costs to addresses other than the original delivery address, nor return costs to destinations outside Portugal.
